Security Protection Officer

Are you a security protection officer with several years of experience in security clearance interviews and background investigations? Job Responsibilities

As a security protection officer, you will primarily work with security clearance interviews for positions both within FMV and with our suppliers with whom we have signed security protection agreements. Furthermore, you will conduct background checks and personal investigations in security protection matters and compile assessment materials and statistics.

Your role includes actively contributing to the development of the security clearance process.

The positions are located in Stockholm. Travel may occur.

We are looking for someone who

Has experience conducting security clearance interviews, or has equivalent skills acquired in another way that we consider comparable (for example, you have worked in the security protection field or independently conducted qualified in-depth interviews). The position requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We see it as an advantage if you have relevant post-secondary education or training in the security protection area, especially if it is related to security clearance. Desirable but not required is experience or knowledge of applying methods for investigations related to personnel matters.

As a person, you are self-driven and have a knack for driving processes forward, while also being a team player and good at collaborating with others. You have a strong ability to work systematically by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively. To succeed and thrive, it is also important that you can weigh complex information together and demonstrate good judgment in assessments and priorities, remaining calm and controlled even in stressful or pressured situations. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. In the selection process, we will conduct tests with the support of an external provider.

About Us

The Security Protection Department within the Legal and Security Staff sets requirements, controls, educates, and supports FMV in the area of security protection with the goal of achieving a well-balanced security and ensuring protection for assets, operations, and deliveries. The department's responsibilities include security protection planning, information security and IT security, physical security and control, training, signal protection, and security intelligence activities including managing and investigating security threats and incidents.

Additionally, the department participates when agreements are made between Sweden and other countries regarding security protection in international collaborations and sets requirements and provides where there is a need for protected communication. The Security Protection Department also maintains the function as the national industrial security authority (DSA) in accordance with security protection legislation.
